Deeniyath

The learning of Quraan with Tajweed and Sunnah in the class is an additional advantage for the child which negates the need for after-school maktabs. the first period from Monday to Friday is dedicated to Quraan. The classes are handled by ulema trained in a unique group teaching method.

In addition to the Quraan periods, four periods per week are dedicated to learning of aqaud, masail, seerath, aqlaaq and tarbiyah. Offering of namaz in the school premises under supervision and the practical implementation of sunnah etiquettes help in building character, religious awareness and Islamic understanding.

Care is taken to follow shariah guidelines especially during the school activities. Programmes relating to deeniyath are given equal weightage.

A unique aspect of The Hidayah International School is the deeniyath orientation classes for the teaching staff. Monday to Friday, during the first period the teachers are engaged in deeniyath classes. Speeches by eminent religious scholars are held from time to time.

The dress code has been made shariah compliant. the girls were full sleeved kurtas and pyjama with a scarf, whereas the boys are given full sleeved shirts, pants and cap. The teachers also wear a full grown with hijab.

Right from the first standard itself, separate sections have been made for boys and girls. Plans are in place for starting a separate campus for girls from 5th std onwards.
